Where they started

A clinic doing serious work that was effectively invisible when nearby families searched for it. The Google listing was thin, details disagreed across directories, and reviews sat unanswered.

What we did

  • Google listing rebuilt

Claimed properly, categories and services set, hours and photos filled in, kept current.

  • Details made consistent everywhere

Name, address and phone corrected across the directories Google checks against. Mismatches quietly split local ranking.

  • Reviews answered

Every review acknowledged, in a tone fit for a healthcare setting.

  • Visibility watched monthly

Position on the map tracked, so the work answers to a number rather than a feeling.

What changed
The phone rings from the map.

Why is my business not showing up on Google?

Nine times out of ten it is not a penalty and it is not your website. It is that Google has nothing solid to attach your business to. The map results are built almost entirely from your Google Business Profile, and a thin or contradictory profile simply gets skipped over in favour of one Google is more confident about.

  • The profile is unclaimed, or claimed and left alone

An auto-generated listing with no categories, no hours and no photos gives Google nothing to match a search against. Claiming it is free and takes an afternoon.

  • Your name, address and phone disagree somewhere

If the details on your site, your Facebook page and an old directory listing do not match character for character, that uncertainty splits your ranking. This is the single most common cause we find.

  • The primary category is wrong

Google matches searches to categories before anything else. A clinic filed under the wrong primary category will not appear for the searches it should own, no matter how good the rest of the profile is.

  • There are no recent reviews, or nobody answers them

Reviews are a ranking signal and a trust signal at once. A steady trickle with replies beats a burst two years ago.

  • You are further away than the businesses that do show

Proximity is a real factor you cannot edit. The map pack has three slots and it re-ranks for every searcher's location, so a business two towns over may genuinely be shown instead of you.

If you want to know which of these is true for you specifically, that is exactly what the free audit checks.
